Construction Project Manager – Plumbing

Location: Irvine, CA

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a plumbing focus to lead commercial plumbing projects throughout Irvine and the greater Orange County area. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional who understands the work in the field and can confidently manage projects from estimate through closeout.

The Plumbing Project Manager will oversee all phases of commercial plumbing construction
, with a strong emphasis on laboratories, clean rooms, and healthcare facilities
. The ideal candidate brings deep technical plumbing knowledge, estimating capability, and the leadership skills to deliver complex, high‑quality projects in active environments.

• Manage commercial plumbing projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence
• Prepare and review estimates, takeoffs, change orders, and job cost projections
• Review drawings and specifications for lab, cleanroom, and healthcare projects to identify scope, risks, and coordination challenges
• Work closely with field supervision, foremen, and crews to drive productivity and resolve jobsite issues
• Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, inspectors, and facility stakeholders
• Procure materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
• Track project costs, approve invoices, and forecast final job profitability
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, infection control requirements, and company procedures
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and project partners

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial plumbing projects
• Strong hands‑on plumbing background with prior field experience
• Proven estimating and preconstruction experience
• Experience supporting or managing projects in labs, clean rooms, and/or healthcare environments
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with OSHPD/HCAI, cleanroom standards, or healthcare construction practices is a plus
• Proficiency with project management and estimating software
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience working in Southern California markets preferred
