We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Project Director to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise in Commercial, Healthcare, and Mixed Use Construction to a thriving and renowned construction company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all phases of large-scale construction projects, from planning and design to completion. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work, budget, and staffing requirements.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with contractual requirements and meet quality standards.
- Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and government authorities.
- Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
- Implement risk management processes and identify potential risks and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.
- Resolve any issues or delays that may occur during the construction process.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry, with a focus on Commercial, Healthcare, and Mixed Use Construction.
- Proven experience with TI & Renovation, Healthcare, Science & Technology, Hospitality, Mixed Use, Residential, Retail, Restaurant, TI, Renovation, Tenant Improvement, Multifamily Construction, and Podium.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent is a plus.
