Concrete Formwork Detailer/Draftsperson
Position Overview
We are seeking a Full-Time, In-House Concrete Formwork Detailer/Draftsperson to join our team. This role focuses on producing concrete and formwork shop drawings using AutoCAD while working primarily with architectural and structural drawings.
As a Formwork Detailer, you will:
- Prepare accurate concrete layout drawings, including floor plans and elevation views.
- Identify slab edges, construction joints, elevations, and more.
- Generate project-specific shop drawings with detailed production designs for columns, walls, parapets, and elevated concrete slabs.
- Collaborate closely with project field formwork superintendents and liaise with our Ontario, CA yard to manage formwork production orders and deliveries.
- Oversee the formwork process for each project from conception to completion.
- Report directly to the Chief Detailer and work under the guidance of the Formwork Operations Manager.
Key Requirements
- Experience
:
Minimum of 3 years in concrete formwork detailing. Carpenter formwork experience is a plus. At least 3 years of AutoCAD experience. - Technical Skills
:
Familiarity with BIM software (Revit experience is a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). - Work Style
:
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary
: $75,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience.
Incentives:
