Job DescriptionA successful Senior Project Manager at RAM Construction will provide the highest level of service and quality by implementing all members of the construction team, beginning with pre‑construction services, throughout project construction, and finishing with successful project close out.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Full project responsibility in all areas of construction and construction management.
- Perform project pre‑construction activities including estimating, bidding, value engineering and scheduling.
- Manage and update project scheduling and documentation.
- Ensure project quality control and assurance that construction meets or exceeds the plans, specifications, codes, and approved shop drawings.
- Track and commit to change order estimating.
- Maintain project documentation, correspondence, records, shop drawings, submittals, procurement schedule, RFIs, etc.
- Communicate openly with management.
- Train and develop team members for overall company growth.
- Other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience working for a commercial GC.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing projects in commercial construction.
- Adroit knowledge of all principals of construction, methods, techniques, print reading, contracting, and construction management.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Procore), accounting and cost management software (Procore), and scheduling software.
- 100% detailed/hands‑on knowledge of project scope.
- Experience with running multiple projects, preferably within our core markets.
