, you will coordinate business development strategies, client databases, and pursuit management activities. • Assists in the coordination of the company-wide business development program.
• Performs customer outreach on potential new customers.
• Discusses customers’ preferred requirements and arranges for meetings between prospective customers and representatives of various company functional areas.
• Compiles and analyzes statistics pertinent to the company's business development.
• Supports daily correspondence and activities of business development leadership.
• Supports pipeline database development and data entry.
• Updates database with pursuit notes and activities.
• Manages event registration, dues, sponsor ships and memberships.
• Research existing and prospective clients and projects to support business strategy.
• Works closely with preconstruction and proposal teams to coordinate pursuit management activities.
• Maintains meeting calendars, prepares meeting agendas and assists with material development.
• Attends and participates in industry outreach and events as needed.
• Local and out of state travel – 25-30% of the time.
• Performs additional assignments per management’s direction.

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience in sales, business development, administration, and/or related position or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

• Sales or Business Development experience.
• Three years plus of experience in sales, business development, administration and/or related job role.
• Prior experience in construction industry.
• Prior experience in the construction industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (heavy on excel and PowerPoint).

The salary range for this position is between $95,000-$115,000 per year depending on experience and/or education.
