Responsibilities
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team focused on launching and growing products in specialty markets
  • Develop complete business plans aligned with commercial strategy and growth projections
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to first line leadership sales team to ensure accountability and compliance
  • Foster innovation in sales approaches and ensure effective collaboration with marketing and human resources
  • Identify opportunities to maximize business results and address customer needs collaboratively
Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree AND 17+ years of progressive leadership experience in specialty pharmaceutical or biotech sales management
  • Proven ability to set and achieve challenging business objectives with superior product performance
  • Thorough understanding of industry standards, specialty product distribution, and market access fundamentals
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for frequent driving responsibilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with peers and leadership
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or PhD preferred with 15+ or 12+ years of related experience, respectively
  • Experience managing a regional specialty sales force during rapid growth in specialty pharmaceuticals or rare diseases
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy entrepreneurial environment
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead others effectively
  • Experience fostering career development for direct and indirect reports
