Job SummaryAs the Product Manager, Downstream, you are responsible for driving market adoption, revenue growth, and customer engagement for assigned product lines post‑launch. This role focuses on commercialization, pricing strategy, and lifecycle optimization to ensure products deliver maximum value to customers and achieve business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities- Commercialization & Go-To-Market Execution: Develop and implement downstream strategies; lead pricing strategy; partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care.
- Customer Engagement & Voice of Customer (VOC): Gather and analyze customer feedback; translate VOC insights into lifecycle improvements.
- Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs; use data-driven insights to refine strategies.
- Training & Enablement: Deliver training programs for sales teams, partners, and customers.
- Proven track record in product management and downstream marketing with emphasis on commercialization and lifecycle optimization.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and customer engagement best practices.
- Plus: Strong background in digital marketing, technical writing and collateral development.
- Data-driven decision-making and ability to analyze performance metrics.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Up to 10-20% travel, including customer visits, industry events, product trainings, and occasional trips to other Novanta sites.
- Travel may include domestic and limited international trips, depending on business needs.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, working on a computer, and participating in virtual meetings.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for occasional handling of demo units, marketing materials, or equipment.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during trade shows, customer visits, or product demonstrations.
- Must be able to travel by car, plane, or other transportation as required.
- The salary for this role will range from ,000 USD annually based on full-time employment. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to location, relevant skills, training, experience, education, etc.
- Certain roles may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives. Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
