The Vice President of Sales is a strategic and dynamic leader responsible for revenue strategy & growth, expanding market share, and leading all sales channels for Score Sports. This role oversees both inside and outside sales teams, strengthens relationships across the team sports ecosystem, and accelerates growth in direct-to-consumer and B2B channels. The VP of Sales will build and execute sales strategies that support Score Sports’ mission to deliver high-quality, accessible athletic apparel and gear to athletes, schools, youth sports leagues, emerging verticals and consumers nationwide.
The VP of sales will drive the evolution from reactive selling to predictive, data-driven growth, aligning cross functional teams around a “Ready to Play” customer promise.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally in sporting goods, apparel, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Proven track record leading inside and outside sales teams with measurable revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of the team sports market (schools, leagues, clubs, DTC).
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and forecasting skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams.
- Ability to travel as needed for customer meetings, events, and market development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, or other spreadsheet tools.
- Experience with Net Suite ERP or similar systems preferred and highly valuable in this role.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Hub Spot, or similar) a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals, revenue targets, and market opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing inside and outside sales teams, including regional managers, and account executives grounded in accountability, CRM adoption, and a clear hunter-farmer model.
- Forecast sales performance, track KPIs, and proactively adjust tactics to ensure sustainable growth.
- Partner with marketing, operations, and product teams to optimize GTM (go-to-market) planning, seasonal launches, and pricing strategy to operationalize a customer first model.
- Attend industry trade shows and events to support lead generation efforts and build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Drive growth across the team sports market, including youth organizations, schools, parks & recreation, clubs, leagues, and associations.
- Support the expansion of direct-to-consumer sales by optimizing digital channels, customer engagement, and promotional strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and strategic partnerships to increase brand presence and revenue.
- Lead SCORE’s national tradeshow strategy, including booth execution, win-back lounges, event ROI tracking, and post-event accountability metrics.
- Strengthen key customer relationships with leagues, distributors, retailers, and large-scale accounts.
