Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Network Planner in our Fuels, Motion, and Control Aerospace business! This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The position can be based at any of our FMC sites:
Euclid, OH;
Beachwood, OH;
Jackson, MS;
Charleston, SC;
Grand Rapids, MI;
Irvine, CA;
Los Angeles, CA.

Travel is quoted at 25%, with about one site visit per month.

The expected annual salary range is $149,000 – $219,000, plus variable incentive. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What You’ll Do

The Supply Chain Network Planner is a leading role in the integrated, intelligent, and agile supply chain organization, focusing on the full SIOP horizon including execution (0‑36 months). The Network Planner is responsible for demand‑supply balancing for their value stream, providing insights on demand at risk for their portfolio, setting and maintaining guardrails for the consensus supply plan, managing critical exceptions, and liaising horizontally across the network.

This Function You Will
  • Manage a team of Network Schedulers / MPS planners for the 0‑3 month window and collaborate with Buyers, Material Planners and Order Managers.
  • Manage capacity vs demand (0‑36 months horizon), flag exceptions, drive solutions to close gaps.
  • Partner with operations, warehousing and procurement when capacity gaps require escalation.
  • Manage replenishment strategy across the value stream per inventory policy and conduct regular parameter audits.
  • Create consensus supply plans, balancing FG inventory and capacity to meet demand on‑time and in full.
  • Ensure production schedule adherence and attainment.
  • Work with SIOP and business teams to update FG inventory targets and policies.
  • Review supply and inventory performance metrics, identify gaps versus targets, and lead improvement actions.
  • Accountable for value‑stream improvements in cash, cost and customer service results.
  • Initiate scenario planning to optimize service, cash and costs.
  • Prioritize order allocation during supply constraint in collaboration with the Execution Scheduler.
  • Provide relevant information to the divisional SIOP meetings on supply vs demand and FG inventory performance.
Qualifications Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of supply‑chain management and planning experience in a global or multi‑plant industrial company.
  • Minimum 2 years of people or project management leadership experience.
  • Access to export‑controlled information requires U.S. person status (citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
  • Must reside within 50 miles of one of the listed site locations.
Preferred
  • MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering.
  • Experience with Advanced Planning Systems.
  • CPIM certification.
Position Criteria
  • Working across supply chain and operations with a proven track record of influencing and delivering end‑to‑end results.
  • Ability to manage complex material flows across multi‑tier manufacturing and distribution networks; broad foundational technical expertise in planning, execution, procurement, and plant operations.
  • Experience building partnerships and influencing cross‑functional stakeholders in sales, finance, product lines, and HR.
  • Deep understanding of how supply chain impacts P&L and working capital.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and draw conclusions from large data sets.
  • Holistic perspective, adaptability to diverse cultures, and ability to obtain results in complex environments.
  • Influential internal and external leader who challenges the status quo, motivates and inspires teams.
  • Strong relationship‑building at all levels.
  • Storytelling ability using data to generate scenarios and communicate outcomes to non‑technical audiences.
