** About the Role
** Market & Competitive Intelligence
* Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of global market data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence.
* Build and maintain a structured process for monitoring industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.
* Develop and present actionable insights that inform portfolio decisions and long-term strategy.

Strategic Translation
* Partner closely with the Director of Platform Technology and Global Product Managers to translate market insights into portfolio strategies and product roadmaps.
* Provide clear, data-driven recommendations that influence business cases, Stage Gate decisions, and go-to-market planning.
* Create and deliver high-impact reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive and cross-functional stakeholders.

Relationship Building & Collaboration
* Establish and nurture strong relationships across Össur’s regional teams to ensure global alignment and exchange of market knowledge.
* Build external networks with key customers, clinicians, researchers, and industry stakeholders to capture critical insights and trends.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to the Strategic Marketing team by bringing the “voice of the market” into every portfolio discussion.

Business Acumen & Communication
* Apply strong business acumen to evaluate market opportunities, size new segments, and assess competitive positioning.
* Communicate complex insights clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels, from regional teams to executive leadership.
* Ensure insights are practical, actionable, and directly connected to business outcomes.

*** BS/BA degree  + MBA is a plus
* Proven and demonstrated experience in market research and analytics
* Self-starter; ability to take initiative and also to seek guidance when appropriate.
* Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills in group and one-on-one settings.
* Strong organization, time management, and project management skills.
* Computer skills are required, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
