The Assistant Manager - Business Planning & Analysis role will act as a trusted partner in providing financial and analytical support to the head of the business planning and analysis team by creating complex business models that will be used to forecast sales, revenues, and COGS, which will influence key decision-making. They are also responsible for the annual operating plan, long-range plan, cost analysis, and establishing governance and discipline around the financial health of the company.
Responsibilities- Responsible for supporting the operational and business planning and analysis needs of the organization, providing integrated analysis of operational metrics
- Manage development and execution of data-driven business reporting and analysis, while actively enhancing and ensuring effective data management and analysis to share with cross-functional department
- Measure forecast accuracy with the goal to maximize revenue while optimizing inventory levels across ports
- Review and optimize revenue and cost analysis, ensuring financial efficiency and supporting cost reduction initiatives
- Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to define and execute the corporate strategic roadmap
- Define and manage the operational planning process, working closely with business units and functional leaders
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to monitor performance metrics, generate insights, and support management decisions
- Manage and analyze sales and operational data to inform business decisions
- Support the development of strategic business presentations for market expansion and new business initiatives
- Partner with management and team in strategic, operational and business planning and ensure decisions in line with overall business strategic approach and goals
- Provide insight on skills and capabilities required and contribute to short, medium and long-term business plans, adding value through strategic resourcing decisions and develop the understanding of the business into action plans and focus areas for operation
- Analyze Finished Vehicle historical data, market trends, customer behavior, and sales performance in the US market to support business goals and identify growth opportunities
- Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
$86,000-$96,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
