Qcells Service Solutions (QSS) is the residential solar asset operations and maintenance arm of Qcells. QSS establishes design standards and installation guidelines for EnFin TPO, delivers specialized quality‑assurance review services, and proactively monitors all assets to ensure timely issue resolution. This approach maximizes homeowner experience, system performance, and capital investor value.
The QSS Senior Director of Vendor Risk & Procurement Management is responsible for leading all vendor relationships, procurement strategy, and risk oversight for a rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in vendor management, construction and lending compliance, procurement operations, and cross‑functional leadership. This role requires a proven ability to assess vendor performance, negotiate contracts, manage risk, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, compliance, and profitability.
The Senior Director ensures vendors deliver high‑quality performance and outputs on schedule while driving strategic procurement initiatives that maximize economic value. This role will design, implement, and oversee vendor management systems, establish scalable procurement processes, and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives across the TPO (Third‑Party Ownership) business.
Third‑Party Ownership (TPO) is expected to be one of the fastest‑growing segments in residential solar, fueled by rising interest rates and the Inflation Reduction Act. Qcells is uniquely positioned to lead this expansion through its domestic content tax credit advantages, strong dealer network, and robust point‑of‑sale financing platform.
Responsibilities- Set strategic goals and oversee the risk organization in the areas of vendor management and procurement strategy to ensure cost‑effectiveness, compliance, and quality outcomes.
- Select, negotiate, and manage third‑party vendor relationships, including construction inspection firms, fund control providers, and professional service partners.
- Lead procurement operations, policies, and procedures to align with organizational objectives and industry regulations.
- Implement and manage vendor performance review processes, driving accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with executive leadership to assess business needs, mitigate risk, and develop procurement solutions that support growth and operational efficiency.
- Oversee fund control and disbursement processes to ensure compliance with contractual, financial, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to evaluate procurement technology, implement process enhancements, and strengthen vendor management systems.
- Provide thought leadership in risk management, cost control, and vendor selection strategies.
- Support acquisitions by evaluating vendor contracts, procurement practices, and operational risks, and integrating them into organizational standards.
