Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Job Summary
The Labor Compliance Specialist will be part of union reporting, project support, labor compliance, and audit processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills to maintain compliance with union and subcontractor requirements while being a part of a team in delivering high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Work on union reporting, including monthly and weekly submissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Work with Finance Department to reconcile all monthly payments.
- Support project activities, including preparation of certified reports and required labor compliance forms for union construction projects.
- Research and provide support documentation to resolve discrepancy notices efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct union and labor compliance audits, ensuring all processes meet regulatory and organizational standards.
- Create and maintain craft class codes to support operational and reporting needs.
- Track subcontractor compliance and certified payroll, ensuring adherence to contractual and legal requirements.
- Previous experience with construction union accounting practices.
- Strong knowledge of labor compliance, union reporting, and certified payroll processes.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to research and compile documentation under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Viewpoint, LCP Tracker, Excel, Zenith; DIR and federal labor laws.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, subcontractors, and auditors.
This position is based in the Irvine office and may require occasional travel to project sites or audit locations. The Specialist will work closely with union representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure compliance and operational success.
