Position SummaryThe College Student Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate students a professional work experience and exposure to the healthcare field.
Responsibilities- Gain substantial professional experience and exposure to City of Hope.
- Develop a comprehensive perspective of the healthcare field.
- Participate in networking, personal and professional development opportunities.
- Prepare for a future career within the organization.
- Utilize effective communication skills under supervisors' direction to complete tasks.
- Utilize City of Hope resources (computer, phone, office equipment) as directed by supervisor.
- Work closely with an assigned team member to complete tasks.
- Learn and perform assigned work, handling multiple tasks and changing priorities.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED, currently enrolled in a college or university (undergraduate or graduate program).
Preferred Education: Enrollment or completion of healthcare‑related courses.
Preferred Experience: Basic office environment experience.
Skills/Abilities: Organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Software: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
