Responsibilities- Assist in scheduling all weekend experience leaders and volunteers
- Assist in communication with weekend experience teams
- Field, screen, transfer, or route calls as needed and arrange "callbacks"
- Train and oversee Reception Volunteers for weekend experience
- Participate in staff meetings to ensure proper follow‑through
- Arrange and sort mail, and perform clerical functions such as photocopying, printing, mailing, and filing
- Assist with ordering of equipment, furniture, and signage for weekend experience
- Handle special administrative projects
- Correspond with all outside vendors for special events
- Produce content, diagrams, and strategic plans for special events
- Develop follow‑through plans for all special events
- Work closely with the Lake Forest Accounting Team to update campus budget and prepare reports
- Committed Christian and a regular participant of Saddleback Church
- Computer skills (Mac & PC)
- Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Calendar)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Quick learner and nimble with technology
- Ability to work well with all levels of management, staff, clients, and vendors
- Strong communication skills and commitment to good interpersonal relationships, teamwork, and support of church ministries
- Pleasant personality and ability to maintain confidentiality
Saddleback Church’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity and budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. The estimated pay rate for this position is $18‑$19 per hour, depending on experience. We will provide a pay rate within our salary structure that fits a candidate’s qualifications and experience for the job. The posted wage range does not guarantee a specific job offer.
