DescriptionOur client, a leader in commercial real estate, is seeking a professional and dependable Receptionist to support daily front office operations at their dynamic and fast‑paced workplace in Irvine, CA. This is a full‑time, onsite role operating Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5:30 pm. This is a 5‑month contract opportunity with the potential to extend and pays $20 per hour. The position requires a polished, service‑oriented individual who enjoys creating a welcoming environment and supporting a range of administrative and facility‑related tasks.
In this role, you’ll manage a variety of responsibilities including visitor coordination, meeting room setup, office supply management, and reception coverage, all while maintaining a friendly and professional presence at the front desk.
- Manage meeting room reservations and ensure availability for scheduled appointments
- Coordinate internal and external meeting space bookings
- Ensure meeting rooms are clean and set up with required amenities
- Monitor and restock pantry snacks and supplies as needed
- Assist with general office maintenance and cleanliness
- Greet visitors, manage check‑in processes, and direct guests to appropriate contacts
- Coordinate catering deliveries and guide vendors on setup logistics
- Receive, track, and distribute incoming packages and mail
- Manage outbound mail and courier requests
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls; respond to general inquiries
- Provide administrative support such as filing, scheduling, and documentation
- Load and unload the dishwasher; organize and clean common areas
- Coordinate with building services for maintenance or repair requests
- Support employees and clients with office‑related logistics and questions
- Maintain a professional and helpful front‑desk presence at all times
- Minimum of 2 years in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experienced in Microsoft Outlook for inbox and calendar management
- Adaptable and flexible in handling changing tasks and priorities
- Professional demeanor and reliable work ethic
- Willingness to learn and explore new technologies
- Basic understanding of digital tools or platforms
- Positive, service‑oriented attitude with a focus on efficiency and support
