Key Responsibilities- Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Assisting in month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes.
- Analyzing account variances and investigating discrepancies.
- Supporting the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
- Coordinating with internal and external auditors as required.
- Monitoring and recording daily cash transactions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and international funds transfers.
- Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.
- Collaborating with accounts payable/receivable teams for accurate cash accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related financial role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- CPA or working toward certification.
- Experience in the medical device, manufacturing, or healthcare industries.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit processes.
