Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job DescriptionThe Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage and apply customer payments from various sources such as Lockbox, mail, EFT, and credit cards with precision on a daily basis. The role involves preparing and distributing daily cash receipts reports, reconciling these receipts with bank entries, and addressing inquiries related to cash receipts.
Responsibilities- Apply a high volume of customer payments received via Lockbox, mail, EFT, and credit cards with accuracy daily.
- Prepare and distribute daily cash receipts reports to various offices.
- Reconcile daily cash receipts to bank entries.
- Research and resolve entries posted to Unapplied Cash.
- Respond promptly to cash receipt inquiries from various offices.
- Address email inquiries from customers and other departments in a timely manner.
- Ensure all cash receipts are balanced with bank Ledger entries at month-end.
- 1+ years of experience within accounts receivable.
- Experience with cash applications.
- Basic Excel skills, intermediate preferred.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems, specifically Dynamics, is preferred but open to other systems.
- Familiarity with aging reports and lockbox processes.
This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
