Job Summary
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support high‑volume invoice processing in a fast‑paced manufacturing or distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have strong three‑way match experience (PO, receipt, invoice), hands‑on experience with a large ERP system, and the ability to work accurately under deadlines while collaborating cross‑functionally with purchasing, receiving, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities- Process high‑volume accounts payable invoices with accuracy and efficiency
- Perform three‑way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and variances
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and issues
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies and audit requirements
- Prepare and assist with weekly check runs and electronic payments (ACH/wires)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances
- Support month‑end close activities related to accounts payable
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures
- Assist with process improvements and system enhancements within AP workflows
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or high‑volume environment
- Strong three‑way match (PO, receiving, invoice) experience required
- Experience working within a large ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, JD Edwards, Workday Financials, or similar)
- High‑volume invoice processing experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems
Determining compensation for this role depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The salary range for the role is disclosed in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
