X Talent Solutions is supporting a publicly traded organization that is seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant to support its accounting and finance department.

This is a contract consulting engagement focused on providing senior-level accounting support through upcoming close, audit and reporting cycles. The role offers high visibility and the opportunity to contribute immediately in a fast-paced public company environment.

• Provide senior-level support across general accounting operations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Support audit preparation and coordination with external auditors
• Assist with SEC reporting support, including 10-K and 10-Q preparation and tie-outs
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Support process stabilization and documentation during a transition period
• Collaborate with internal accounting and finance stakeholders to ensure continuity and accuracy

• Experience in an Assistant Controller, Controller, Director of Accounting or Senior Accounting Consultant capacity
• Public company accounting experience required
• Exposure to SEC reporting and audit support
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial close processes
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a changing environment
• Prior consulting, interim, or contract experience preferred
