We are conducting a search for a Senior Financial Controller to support a growing organization. This role leads all accounting operations while remaining highly hands‑on in execution. The position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable group reporting standards, and overseeing efficient month‑end close and audit processes.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable group reporting standards
- Ensure timely and accurate management reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Coordinate external audits and internal control reviews; serve as the primary point of contact for auditors
- Maintain and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and documentation aligned with governance and SOX‑like frameworks
- Lead and actively participate in all day‑to‑day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and cash management
- Maintain direct ownership and detailed review of complex reconciliations, journal entries, and close activities
- Own and continuously improve month‑end close processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure proper revenue recognition (ASC 606), capitalization practices, and balance sheet integrity
- Maintain and enhance accounting documentation to support audit readiness and continuity
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals across multiple locations and remote environments
- Foster a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement
- Strengthen team performance through hands‑on mentorship, thoughtful review, and practical training
- Establish clear performance expectations, metrics, and development plans
- Drive automation and process optimization initiatives, including ERP implementation and data integration
- Partner with FP&A to ensure alignment between actuals, forecasts, and budgets
- Support ERP and reporting tool enhancements, including design input and user acceptance testing
- Provide technical accounting guidance related to new contracts, business initiatives, and policy interpretations
- Act as a trusted partner to cross‑functional and international stakeholders
- Support senior finance leadership on strategic initiatives, audit readiness, and organizational transformation efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS exposure a plus
- Experience in multi‑entity and complex reporting environments
- ERP system experience required;
Net Suite highly preferred - Proven ability to succeed in evolving, fast‑paced environments
