Job Description:

Our Real Estate client is seeking to expand their business and add a Fund Accounting Manager to their team. This company is a leading owner, operator, and investor in the real estate industry. As a Fund Accounting Manager, you will be involved in both accounting activities and fund operations across multiple areas.

Responsibilities include:

• Review quarterly property-level books
• Prepare and coordinate consolidated investor quarterly reports and annual financial statements
• Manage the annual audit process and respond to audit inquiries
• Assist with the preparation of annual investor conference materials
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax projection calculations
• Conduct quarterly & annual REIT compliance testing
• Assist with compliance of Partnership agreements
• Handle accounting for transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and loan closings, including validating settlement statements, providing funding, and booking transactions
• Respond to investor requests for information and inquiries, including account statements, debt and asset information, and audit confirmations
• Review weekly cash projections and bank reconciliations
• Prepare consolidated cash flow models
• Manage Fund Accounting Staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Yardi is a plus
• CPA license preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
