Advanced Office is a leader in the Southern California area document technology space. It’s our mission to help our customers improve their document processes so they can focus on what matters to them. We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team.

  • Receive and post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions in eAutomate (ERP system)
  • Maintain records of aging open invoices
  • Communicate with customers about past due invoices, providing appropriate documentation (collections)
  • Encourage the payment of invoices through positive interactions and persistent communication
  • Resolve customer questions and concerns
  • Process and deposit checks electronically
  • Manage physical and digital records of payments and invoices
  • Release credit holds on service and supply orders when appropriate
  • Communicate and interact with compartir all other departments to collaborate on key duties
  • Assist with special projects on an as needed basis

Experience and Skill Requirements:

  • 1 year Accounts Receivable work experience or comparable
  • Confidentiality
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to professionally and politely persuade others
  • Problem‑solving skills/analysis
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to prioritize and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
  • Self‑motivation, flexibility, and the ability to work as a team to consistently meet all deadlines
  • AA Degree or Equivalent (preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Management, or Economics)
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software

Term: Full Time (8am - 5pm)

Location: Irvine
