Position: Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has a strong foundation in accounting principles, is eager to join a collaborative team, and has experience with Fixed Assets. • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts
• Processes Fixed Asset journal entries and recurring journal entries monthly
• Maintains monthly reconciliations of fixed asset accounts.
• Manage asset acquisitions and disposals
• Prepares schedules for audits and reviews including but not limited to the fixed asset roll-forward.
• Proactively assess the accuracy and validity of CIP balances
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as needed
• Prepare schedules for audits and reviews including, but not limited to the fixed asset roll-forward
• Communicates with upper management to determine appropriate accounting procedures for complex areas
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support business decision-making
• Maintain organized records and documentation
• Interact professionally and ethically, constructively participating as a collaborative team member in pursuit of common goals

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP knowledge preferred)
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, etc preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
