Senior Technical Accountant

Our client is seeking a highly capable Senior Accounting Consultant to support their Revenue Accounting team during a major system implementation.

You will be responsible for month‑end close, reconciliations, GL tracking, and intercompany activity, and assisting with ERP implementation.

• Support the Revenue Accounting team with month‑end close activities
  , including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
• Perform GL account reconciliations
  , ensuring all postings are accurate, timely, and properly documented.
• Handle intercompany accounting
  , including settlement processes, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Maintain close documentation, support schedules, and audit‑ready work papers.
• Provide critical accounting coverage while team members assist with the ERP implementation.
• Identify issues arising from system transitions or changes and elevate appropriately.
• Operate independently with minimal direction and deliver high‑quality work in a changing environment.

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager level).
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting
  , reconciliations
  , and month‑end close
  .
• Experience in intercompany accounting
  .
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Ability to step into an environment with minimal direction and quickly deliver accurate results.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.

• ERP implementation experience (any major ERP—Oracle, SAP, Net Suite, Workday, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle ERP is highly preferred.
• Experience working in environments undergoing system transitions or major operational change.
