Job Summary

Immediate hiring! We are seeking a motivated and outgoing accountant/AP or HR specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to our office employees, ensuring they have all the information and resources they need to perform their best. Your responsibilities will include working on Quick Books, bank and credit card reconciliation, and writing email correspondence. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Time efficient and can work with minimal or no supervision. Efficient in QB and excel, as well as some advanced knowledge in tax and bookkeeping (would be a plus).

Responsibilities
  • QB entry, payments to the vendors
  • Bank and credit card reconciliation
  • Monthly/quarterly projection reports through QB
  • Bi-weekly payroll (ADP)
  • Maintain an organized filing system
  • Develop, update, and maintain relevant office procedures
  • assist with tax corresponds and bookkeeping
Qualifications
  • 5 years experience as an accountant, bookkeeper is a MUST
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook,PowerPoint, Excel and Quickbooks
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage
  • Willing to learn and adapt while being a team player
  • High school diploma; BS/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
