Customer Service Rep, HelpDesk/Support
Position Summary
Supports the Apartments Division by performing administrative and financial tasks for former resident accounts and provides exemplary customer service to our internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Places outbound phone calls, text messages, and emails to collect an outstanding debt.
- Investigates and resolves complaints regarding outstanding debt.
- Minimize objections for payment and suggest available customer-friendly payment options.
- Provides excellent customer service and maintains brand reputation.
- Builds and maintains strong, positive relationships with our internal and external customers, including collection agencies and law firms.
- Multitasks with efficiency and paramount accuracy.
- Administer all debt recovery activities in accordance to required policies and procedures.
- Maintain assigned accounts by: completing all required follow-up, monitoring repayment agreements, and analyze customer accounts to increase recovery.
- Use software to keep detailed notes regarding conversations with customers and outcomes.
- Collaborates with internal departments on special projects and initiatives.
- Utilizes property management-specific applications (One Site, Pivotal, Resident Portal, and Service Now).
- Utilizes Google applications (Gmail, Groups, Sheets, Drive) as well as Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for department documentation, reporting purposes, and organization.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Call center experience preferred
- Demonstrated skill in negotiating and resolving conflicts
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and extremely detail-oriented
- Self-starter, able to work independently
Demonstrate leadership, initiative, and professionalism - Ability to adapt as the department evolves to support the business
- Experience in debt collections a plus
Base Pay Start Rate:$26.63
