Laundry Assistant

Description

The Laundry Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry is cleaned, pressed, and folded to company standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Laundry Assistant

Full-time/Part-time

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to company standards
• Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
• Inspect laundry for stains, tears, and damage
• Report any damaged or missing items to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of laundry supplies
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

• Push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds to a minimum height of three (3) feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of fifty (50) feet.
• Standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
• Bending and/or stooping for more than one (1) hour at a time.
• Exposure to sound of washers/dryers.
