Alabama Clinical Schools has been a behavioral healthcare provider in the Birmingham area for over 20 years. Our treatment services range from intensive residential treatment for males ages 9-18 to therapeutic foster care for males and females of all ages. Our RISE and Specialized Therapeutic Foster Care programs for boys are the only programs of their kind in the State of Alabama.

ResponsibilitiesThe Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for day‑to‑day oversight and coordination of all inpatient and outpatient nursing services, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as facility policy and procedure. The DON is a key member of the Alabama Clinical Schools Leadership Team, developing a patient‑centric nursing strategy, contributing to strategic planning, and supporting the achievement of institutional goals.

QualificationsRegistered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing; ASN required, MSN preferred. Current RN licence in the State of Alabama. Five (5) years of psychiatric nursing experience and supervisory experience required.
