12 month contract + possible extensions

Fully remote in Canada EST

Hourly Rate: $65-80/hr incorp

Must haves:

• 8+ years of experience with .NET development

• Experience leading software engineering projects or teams

• Strong understanding of scalable architecture and secure web application development

• Experience with end-to-end delivery in Agile environments

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Nice to have:

• Experience with booking/scheduling systems

• Familiarity with public-facing government or citizen service platforms

Insight Global is hiring a Lead .Net Engineer to support a digital modernization program for DS Americas. The role focuses on delivering a new road test management platform, including an online booking system for passenger vehicle road tests and future expansion to other vehicle classes. The platform will also integrate with a new scheduling management tool and support full lifecycle scheduling and booking functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design and development of the .NET-based platform

• Collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders to drive key architectural decisions

• Oversee coding best practices, deployment, and team performance

• Contribute to a high-impact, province-wide citizen service solution
