Senior Systems Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of infrastructure solution designs that align with business and technical requirements.
• Define integration strategies for on-premises and cloud systems, ensuring security, performance, and scalability.
• Evaluate infrastructure technologies and recommend solutions that support digital transformation initiatives.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and roadmaps.
• Maintain and organize architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical artifacts in an enterprise architecture repository.
• Collaborate with solution architects, engineers, and operations teams to guide implementation and validate designs.

• Minimum 3 - 5 + years experience in designing enterprise infrastructure architectures spanning data centres, networks, storage, compute, and cloud platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications such as ITIL, AWS, Azure, GCP Architect, VMware, with a key emphasis on Azure and VMware - (preferred).
• Certifications in infrastructure or security certifications (e.g., CISSP, ITIL) – an asset
• Proven experience as a Systems Architect with a focus on enterprise infrastructure and solution design.
• Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, storage, compute, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with specific expertise in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience designing hybrid architectures and overseeing migration projects.
• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical designs.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance requirements, and best practices.
