We are looking for an HGV ADR Driver to start ASAP for our growing client base across the IP postcode, with support from our experienced Driver Hire team in Bury St Edmunds.

The successful HGV ADR Driver will receive:

• Class 1: £18 basic / £20.50 overtime & Saturday / £22.50 Sunday
• Class 2: £16.50 basic / £19 overtime & Saturday / £20.50 Sunday
• Guaranteed 10hrs per day
• 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE
• Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after satisfactory probation period

What to expect as an HGV ADR Driver:

Working Tuesday to Saturday as standard, you will be driving a Class 1 or Class 2 (depending on your licence) box lorry with tail lift to medical sites around the East of England to collect waste in large commercial waste bins and return to base for incineration. Class 1 drivers must be prepared for 'wag 'n' drag.' Start time ranges from 0400hrs – 0600hrs, and shifts are typically 10hrs long.

This is a Temporary to Permanent role for the right candidate. Salary when permanent is over £40K per annum.

As an HGV ADR Driver you must:

• Have a Class 1 or Class 2 licence (Cat CE or Cat
  
  C)
• Have ADR in Packages (Cat 3, 6,
  9)
• Have a current CPC Card
• Have a current Digi-card
• Have no more than 6 effective penalty points
• No DG, DD or IN endorsements
