Job Role
Responsible for the delivery of a safe, punctual, reliable and customer focussed service by making use of available technology to manage tour drivers and services from departure points to their destinations.
Proactively engaging with the SZC Tours Team, Customers and colleagues to ensure customer needs and expectations are always met and surpassed where possible.
Leading and managing a team in supervising all Tour activities within SPS locations and SZC locations.
KeyRoles And Responsibilities
- Actively championing all health & safety and security guidelines and procedures, whilst dedicating myself to ensuring all employees comply with the expected standards.
- Working closely with the Operations Manager on rotas and to ensure that there is adequate staff coverage and DAS is up to date at all times.
Identifying and resolving daily operational issues, including scheduling and allocation, vehicle issues and driver queries.
Attending the weekly Tours meeting and ensuring that there is an accurate and concise record of tour requirements.
Downloading tachograph cards and ensuring all tour drivers comply with EU drivers hours.
Carrying our route assessments ahead of tours as required to ensure safe operation at all times.
- Escalating key concerns which cant be resolved immediately to my line manager whilst providing proactive suggestions for resolutions and improvements in a timely manner.
- Attending daily Set to work briefs and ensuring all key messages and tasks are understood and actioned within my team.
- Working with all colleagues to embed and champion our SPS Vision and Values and taking every opportunity to demonstrate them.
- Ensuring all relevant and notable information is documented and communicated to my Operations Manager at the end of each shift.
- Actively engaging with both supervisor and driver colleagues through listening, effective communication, having awareness of mental health issues, providing support and recognition.
- Adhering to all Specialist Passenger Solutions policies and procedures at all times.
- Undertaking any reasonable request made by the Company which is commensurate with my role.
- Supporting and mentoring DRIVE Academy colleagues, identifying and providing development opportunities that help them in achieving their career goals.
