Salary & Retention
  • Children’s Social Worker: £37,280 – £40,777 per annum, plus £4,000 annual retention payment (pro rata for part time)
  • Senior Social Worker: £41,502 – £47,054 per annum, plus £3,500 annual retention payment (pro rata for part time)
Responsibilities

As a social worker within Suffolk County Council Children and Young Peoples Services, you will:

  • support children and their families, helping them find solutions, promote their rights, and empower them to thrive;
  • implement interventions in accordance with statutory guidance and case plans;
  • provide regular supervision and professional development in a supportive team;
  • collaborate with colleagues across services to ensure holistic care.
What You Need
  • a relevant social work qualification and Social Work England registration
  • full and current driving licence and personal transport or meet mobility requirements
