Volunteer Ipswich Welfare Clinic Receptionist - RSPCA
The RSPCA is the UK’s oldest animal welfare charity which has been shaping and leading the way people interact with animals for over 200 years. As part of the National RSPCA network, the RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch team has access to some of the best animal care and welfare expertise. As a truly local cause, you will see first‑hand the difference you make to animals.
AboutOur Ipswich Welfare Clinic is looking for volunteer receptionist/s to help at our clinic sessions that run each Tuesday and Friday (11am‑2pm). You could work one or both days depending on your availability.
Main duties would include checking‑in patients, registering new patients, preparing bills and taking payments, dispensing pre‑ordered medication and other admin duties as required. You will need experience in using MS Office software (Word, Excel etc.).
Our Ipswich Welfare Clinic provides subsidised vet care and medication to low‑income families, helping over 1,600 pets a year stay in their loving homes.
A kind, patient and understanding disposition is essential, as is a love of animals!
