Job overview

We’re looking for a Solution Engineer to join us and provide hands on technical capability to expected standard within our Solution Delivery Squad. You’ll contribute to secure software development, delivery and continuous improvement within the team.

Key responsibilities
  • Contributing to the delivery of code to an appropriate level
  • Adhering to best practice architecture, design, development, test and deployment principles
  • Demonstrating good understanding of modern security practices and standards
  • Building close relationships with team members and, if appropriate customers, obtaining feedback and understanding priorities
  • Ensuring continued relevancy of technical skills through demonstrable training and research
  • Implementing technical solutions which meet the stakeholder’s needs and deliver tangible benefits to our business
  • Seeking out and providing regular feedback on performance and delivery
Work arrangements

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.

We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

Your skills & experience
  • Relevant previous IT education and/or experience as a Software or Test Engineer
  • Experience of .NET framework/C#
  • Strong understanding of Clean Code practices, SOLID Principles and Design Patterns
  • Proven experience and knowledge of Agile practices, principles and theories
  • Good inter-personal and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge or experience of React JS
