Complex Care Nurse

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Nurses to provide high-quality care and assistance with complex care patients in their family home. The roles involves supporting the service users with various complex care needs and are to start as soon as possible.

Previous experience in ICU, Community and complex care is essential. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalised care and support. You will be given your working rota 3 months in advance and paid weekly.

Duties

* Provide specialised care for individuals with complex care needs

* PEG Feeding

* Ventilator experience

* Suctioning

* Ventilation

* Support with medication administration following prescribed guideline

* Manage behaviour effectively through compassionate behaviour management techniques

* Offer emotional support and companionship to clients of all ages

* Catheter Care

* Administer first aid in emergency situations and follow health and safety protocols

* Support families and carers by providing guidance on care routines and needs

Requirements

* Experience in Complex Care, assisted living or home care is desirable

* Knowledge of patient care procedures including medication administration and first aid

* Familiarity with Brain Injury, Spinal, degenerative diseases, chronic fatigue syndrome, and senior care practices.

* Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when required

* Valid driving licence for transportation duties

* Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills

* Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and professionalism

* Administer mediation

* Flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings or weekends if needed
