Overview
As a Healthcare Assistant at our Ipswich clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care following Diaverum procedures, ultimately improving our patients quality of life. Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
- Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining clean equipment following proper training
- Preparing supplies and packs for treatment
- Conducting health checks with patients before and after dialysis
- Escorting patients to clinical and waiting areas
- Serving refreshments during treatments
- Must be educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Minimum NVQ level 2 in Health;
Social Care or equivalent (preferably working towards level
3) - Ideally, previous experience in a hospital and healthcare setting
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care
- Excellent communication skills (oral + written) with fluency in English
- Competitive Salary up to £25,086 depending on experience
- Overtime paid at time and a half after completing full-time hours (150 hours every 4 weeks)
