This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse to join a highly regarded, friendly, and forward‑thinking GP surgery in the Ipswich area. The practice is extremely well respected locally, with outstanding staff retention, a supportive team culture, and a genuine focus on work‑life balance.
The PracticeYou'll be working in a modern, purpose‑built practice serving a semi‑rural population with a strong sense of community. The team is well structured, easy‑going, and highly collaborative, including GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses, Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedics, First Contact Physios, and a large supportive admin team.
The practice is organised, stable, and flexible with working patterns, offering an excellent environment for a Practice Nurse with experience in treatment room work and long‑term conditions (Diabetes and Respiratory). Funded training and professional development are fully supported.
Salary – competitive, dependent on experience + NHS Pension + 5 weeks annual leave (pro rata, rising to 6 weeks after 5 years). Location – Ipswich (easily commutable from Stowmarket and Bury St Edmunds).

Practice Nurse – varied and engaging clinical role.
Required days:
- Monday: 10:00‑20:00
- Tuesday: 08:30‑18:30
- Wednesday: 08:30‑18:30
One Saturday per month as part of extended hours (09:00‑12:00).
Mix of treatment room duties and long‑term condition management (Diabetes & Respiratory). Working with patients of all ages, no home visits. Own consulting room provided. Supported by an experienced, multi‑disciplinary team. Funded training and opportunities to develop specialist interests. Personality fit:
