We are looking for a highly motivated, dedicated customer focused individual to join our team on Saxmundham Ward. You will actively participate as a full member of the team, assisting with the smooth running of the ward by managing the reception and administrative functions in a timely, effective and efficient way alongside Doctors, Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.
ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have a friendly manner, be hard working and highly motivated with good customer service skills. If you have excellent communication skills, a professional manner and are committed to being part of a team that provides high quality care we want to hear from you.
Duties- Admission and discharge of patients on Trust computer systems
- Filing of notes
- Answering phones
- Liaising with multidisciplinary teams/departments across the trust
- Welcoming visitors to our ward
You should be able to work autonomously, prioritise your workload and work well within a team. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the public, both face‑to‑face and over the phone. It would be beneficial to have NHS experience and possess excellent IT and clerical skills. The working days are Monday to Friday, with some weekend and bank holiday working.
