Job OverviewAs a Relief Pharmacist, you will provide expert patient and customer care across multiple Boots pharmacies. The role involves dispensing medication, offering professional advice, and ensuring the highest safety and quality standards in pharmacy practice.
Responsibilities- Deliver the pharmacy strategy by providing expert care and advice.
- Make legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy.
- Build the pharmacy capability of store teams.
- Conduct continual reviews through audit, observations, and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety is paramount.
- Deliver a range of professional pharmacy services.
- Registered with a relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
- Demonstrates high levels of professional expertise and is respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers, and external professionals.
- Passionate about community pharmacy and providing the best care for customers.
- Collaborative with a team‑centered approach.
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and national and local services.
- Great communicator; able to put people at ease and effectively meet varied customer and patient needs.
