Job Summary

Graduate Partnership between Suffolk County Council, East Suffolk Council, West Suffolk Council, and Babergh & Mid Suffolk District Councils (fixed term to August 2028, 7 posts).

  • Salary: £26,000 in year 1 (rising to £27,500 in year 2 on successful performance)

    37 hours per week

    2‑year fixed term

    Various across Suffolk – hybrid working

Responsibilities
  • Apply excellent communication and collaboration skills to deliver outcomes.
  • Organise work effectively to meet expectations.
  • Help drive innovation, contribute new ideas and fresh approaches to challenges.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2:2 degree in any subject.
  • Degree completed no more than 2 years before summer 2026.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
Placement Structure
  • Two‑year fixed placement within one host organisation (no rotation).
  • Supported by a dedicated line manager and senior mentor.
  • Opportunities to shadow teams across county and district levels.
  • Collaborative graduate project with peers.
