PositionWe are seeking two Cost Control Assistants on a 3-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) on the Sizewell C site. These roles will provide essential financial and administrative support during the transition period prior to the full mobilisation of the Finance team. The Cost Control Assistants will play a key role in ensuring accurate cost tracking, timely data entry, and effective coordination with site teams to maintain financial control in a fast‑paced construction environment.
MainResponsibilities Cost Control & Financial Support
- Assist the Cost Controller with daily cost monitoring and tracking
- Input and maintain cost data accurately within SAP
- Support the preparation of cost reports and financial documentation
- Verify invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure all financial records are correctly filed and auditable
- Coordinate with site teams to collect, validate, and clarify financial information
- Support communication between cost control and operational teams
- Provide general administrative assistance to the Cost Controller
- Basic accounting or finance knowledge
- Previous experience in a cost control, finance, or administrative role is desirable
- Familiarity with SAP is essential
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good organisational and time‑management skills
- Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application
- Willingness to work on‑site at Sizewell C, Suffolk
