Established over 20 years ago, our client are true pioneers within the building services industry with a rich history of delivering prestigious projects ranging from Offices, Education, Arts & Leisure, Healthcare, Warehouses, Retail and Pharmaceutical.

Our Client are looking to expand their in-house Estimating division by employing a skilled Electrical Estimator with a proven track record in estimating large Commercial & Industrial projects, ranging from £500k-£10million. In this role you will need to be responsible for analysing project requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates and evaluating quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Bid management:
  Review bid documents, drawings and specifications to analyse the project scope and requirements.
• Subcontractor/suppliers:
  Evaluate quotations to ensure cost certainty in-line with projects scope/requirements.
• Estimate preparation:
  Supplying detailed costing estimates for all aspects of the project for review/analysis before submissions.
• Risk analysis:
  Assess project risks through scope of works, providing alternative design ideas and potential value engineering exercises.
• Collaboration:
  
  Project collaboration with office project managers and site teams, ensure costs are correct and projects are in-line with pricing.

• Experience of 2-5 years in Electrical estimating.
• Attention to detail and strong independence skills.
• Proven track record of tendering for large Electrical contracts up to £10million.
• Excellent communication both written and verbal skills.

• Salary up to £65,000 DOE.
