Location: Nationwide

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility.

Note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.

As an Assistant Engineer you will work within the Drainage Team, delivering routine, well‑defined drainage and water design tasks while supporting reliable project delivery and continuous learning.

• Produce accurate engineering calculations for drainage & water tasks.
• Prepare and update design drawings and schematics.
• Contribute to reports, specifications, schedules and compliance documentation.
• Assist in developing and reviewing hydraulic, hydrological, or CAD models.

• Experience producing engineering calculations, drawings, reports and models in drainage and water design.
• Knowledge of relevant design standards, regulations and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to undertake site visits, surveys and desk-based research.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in routine tasks.
• Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
