Our client is a well-established name in civil and structural engineering, with offices across the UK. We are currently assisting them in making a strategic hire for their Ipswich office, where they are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to help lead and grow their civils team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking to take the next step in their career or for an established senior professional seeking a new challenge in a growing regional office.

The Role:

• Deliver and manage a broad range of civil engineering projects including commercial, residential, and public realm schemes
• Lead project teams, providing technical guidance and mentoring junior staff
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management
• Support the day-to-day running of the civils team and collaborate closely with structural engineers
• Drive quality, efficiency, and innovation across project delivery

Requirements:

• Chartered (or near-chartered) Civil Engineer
• Minimum 5 years' relevant UK consultancy experience
• Proven ability to manage and deliver complex civil engineering schemes
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
• Experience mentoring junior staff and working in a collaborative environment
