GSL Education are currently seeking a committed and proactive Primary Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Ipswich for an immediate start.

As a Primary Learning Support Assistant
, you will work closely with class teachers to provide support across EYFS, KS1, or KS2. You may work with individuals or small groups, helping pupils stay engaged, build confidence, and achieve academically.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to the teacher during lessons.
• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage students’ social and emotional development.

• Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
• Understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection (enhanced DBS on the update service required).
• Supportive and friendly school environment.
