Are you a compassionate and resilient Learning Support Assistant looking to make a genuine difference? GSL Education is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join specialist settings in Ipswich supporting pupils with a range of additional and high-level needs.
Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one and small-group support
- Assist with EHCP targets and tailored interventions
- Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Promote independence and life skills development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or within SEN settings
- Understanding of autism, SEMH, and associated needs
- Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
