Rose Hill Primary School are seeking to appoint an Attendance and Safeguarding Assistant to support the wellbeing and personal development of the pupils at Rose Hill Primary School.

You will:
  • assistant the designated safeguarding lead
  • monitor daily attendance
  • work with parents to provide support where necessary
  • perform the duties of medical lead
  • co-ordinate external early help
  • manage referrals and record keeping
  • support pupils to have a healthy therapeutic balance.
You will have:
  • experience in a pastoral, counselling, or similar role within an education setting
  • empathy, patience, and non-judgmental approach
  • excellent communication and IT skills
  • the ability to prioritise work including multi-tasking
  • a good understanding of the need to always maintain professional confidentiality
  • good English and mathematics skills (grade C or level 4 or above).
