Position Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer to join the Foundation Learning team at Suffolk New College. As a specialist in inclusion, you will teach across a range of subjects and work with young people with diverse inclusion needs, including learning difficulties and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Foundation and Inclusive Learning to plan, teach, organise, and develop the Foundation Learning Programme.
- Deliver lessons and support to learners, ensuring an inclusive learning experience.
- Work across campuses and travel between sites as required.
- Contribute to the development of projects that support learners’ pathways to higher education, work, or independence.
Qualifications and Experience
- Good standard of education including Maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification.
- Teaching qualification (or commitment to obtain one within a specified time after commencement).
Contract Details
Fixed‑term position until 30 June 2026. Working 17.5 hours per week, which equates to £13,851–£20,946 per annum (pro‑rata).
